Our Sansar is a charity registered in the UK with the mission of providing education, shelter and welfare to the most disadvantaged children in Nepal for whom little or no help is forthcoming. We were the winners of the Charity Awards 2023 for the best UK charity working in International Development, and we were also finalists to the global .ORG Impact Awards 2023 in the Quality of Education for All category. 2. Principles

   Our Sansar is a charity registered in the UK with the mission of providing education, shelter and welfare to the most disadvantaged children in Nepal for whom little or no help is forthcoming. We only work in areas where there is a huge need but no other organisations doing the same type of work as us.

3. Measures

   Current main programmes: - Street and Working Children Programme (Children’s Home for Street Children, Child Helpline/Transit Home, wide Outreach work in the cities and villages) - EmpowerHER: Rights, Protection and Hope (Safe House for Girls who have been victim of gender based violence, wide outreach work in the cities and villages) - End to Child Labour Programme (education for children who worked in brick factories, income generation and other support for their families, community library, investigations of other brick factories, outreach work in all towns and villages, work with local schools) - Education Programme (various activities in different years, provision of a computer teacher, internet access and IT equipment to an all-girls school for the past 13 years, teacher training, teacher placements) - End to Child Marriage (new project, education for girls who are either already married or those who are at risk of child marriage and out of school)

4. Financing

   Approximately 80% of our funding comes from foundations in the UK, Europe (mainly Switzerland, Germany, Lichtenstein), the US (International Monetary Fund). Apart from that we raise money from the public through online campaigns, events and receive regular donations from our supporters. We are also being supported by a Rotary Club and a few companies.
