Goal
Our goal is to train adolescents on topics, processes, methods and leadership skills as well as to accompany them in the solution finding process that will help bring innovation to public administrations, and shape the Switzerland of tomorrow.
-
Challenge
Adolescents (15-19 years of age) have something to say and learn, they want to help shape society at an early age. On the other hand, government agencies often struggle to integrate innovative, youth-oriented, practices. We want to bridge this gap.
-
Need for Action
The project intends to provide the adolescents with direct influence on the implementation of state services. This infers citizen empowerment and the potential to co-create citizen-centered public services.
-
Measures
Workshops for public administrations to present a challenge - Problem definition
Adolescents' training on processes, methods and leadership skills to tackle solution finding
Innovation Champions support the public administrations - solution finding
-
Cooperation Partner
Our implementation partner is association staatslabor, a well known actor when it comes to public services innovation in Switzerland. And for the pilot we will work with 4 public administrations of the canton of Aargau.
-
Impact
Socially committed and solution-oriented adolescents, together with citizen-oriented, solution- and future-oriented Public administrations are to drive forward the achievement of the SDGs and other socially desirable results.
-
Special Quality of the Project; Suitability of the Organization
The project builds a community of young Innovation Champions and involves them directly in the design of sustainable public services solutions. This requires partners who think across sectors, work methodically and are highly networked.
