Ending the Dog Meat Trade

    The campaign aims to eradicate the dog meat trade in Asia, creating a compassionate future for animals and minimizing public health threats.
  2. Challenge
    Humane World for Animals aims to end the dog meat trade in Asia, addressing animal cruelty and public health risks like rabies through community engagement, rescues, capacity building, and advocacy.
  3. Need for Action
    Your support will expand community engagement, rescue efforts, capacity building and legislative advocacy. It will fund projects such as shelters in Vietnam and training and capacity building with local authorities in Indonesia.
  4. Measures
    We'll engage communities, conduct rescues, build capacity, and advocate for legal bans. Funding supports shelter construction, training programs, and partnerships with local NGOs.
  5. Cooperation Partner
    Campaign partners include local and national governments, NGOs, community leaders and public health experts in South Kora, Indonesia, Vietnam, China and India.
  6. Impact
    Our project effectively combines legislative advocacy, community engagement, and direct rescues, evidenced by our success in South Korea’s dog meat ban.
