The Most Important in Brief

The Equilibrium Foundation was established in 2014 as a social implementing organisation under the motto "Create a fairer world" and was registered as a non-profit organisation in Hamburg in 2018. Since the foundation was founded, 8 interdisciplinary activists have been engaged on a part-time and voluntary basis. The spectrum ranges from education, psychology, social education, special education, information technology and business administration. Over the past 7 years, the Equilibrium Foundation has enabled the successful implementation of 10 projects on 3 continents (Asia: Mongolia, Africa: Malawi and Tanzania, America: Guatemala). The sponsors for these projects were many private donors and also larger networks. The collected donations were invested in the project implementation as well as education and training of more than 500 disadvantaged children, young people, teachers and trainers. The 500 multipliers were trained in topics such as special education, training, coaching and management. Furthermore, equipment as well as teaching and learning materials were procured. Our goal is to establish long-term relationships with institutional sponsors in addition to the existing private partners from 2020 onwards.
