Funding Policy
NNHF sets out to enable life-changing improvements to care in the developing world, through a grass-roots approach, tailoring NNHF projects to local realities and working together with local partners. From these, the likelihood of improved care increases. At the centre of our approach to sustainable impact creation are our three focus areas: Capacity building, Diagnosis and registry, Education and empowerment. Successful programmes rely on three key factors: __ Tailored project plans that ensure locally relevant and sustainable outcomes __ Local leadership from dedicated and motivated partners __ Strong project management support from the NNHF team Typical project duration is between one and three years. The foundation further established two yearly awards for outstanding dedication – the NNHF Community Award and the Project of the Year Award.
