Goals
• Gender Equality and Protection (SDG 5): NCT firmly stands against all forms of violence against children, especially girls and women. NCT focuses on combating child marriages, child labour, human trafficking, and sexual and gender-based violence through awareness campaigns, legal support, and empowerment programs. • Educational Support (SDG 4): Offering scholarships, school supplies, and after-school programs to children from the poorest families, ensuring they have access to continuous and quality education. • Vocational Training and Agriculture (SDG 1): NCT promotes nature-based agriculture practices for small and medium-scale farmers in drought-hit rural areas. The purpose is to protect the soil, use less water while using natural farming; provides employable skills training for women and adolescent girls, targeting economic empowerment and poverty alleviation. • Reducing Inequalities (SDG 13): Climate change and challenges further marginalise already vulnerable communities we serve in. Climate change further severely impacts the drought-hit region, resulting in migration of the people, which in turn results contributing increased child marriage, human trafficking and child labour.
