  3. Goals

The school assumes responsibility in the context of education and supports parents in their upbringing, which is why value is placed on cooperation characterised by openness. The declared aim of the educational mission is to provide the best possible holistic preparation for the transition to vocational training or secondary school. To this end, the school offers pupils a living and experiential space in which personal, social and methodological skills are promoted. Individual potential is taken into account. Teaching is based on the curriculum for primary schools in the canton of St. Gallen.

  4. Principles

Lessons are based on the concept of guided self-learning, whereby the main focus is on the acquisition of independence. A characteristic essential in today's professional world. The role of the teacher therefore changes over the course of the school years: where a lot of support is offered at the beginning, the teacher later acts more as a coach in the classroom, monitors learning progress, offers assistance where necessary, encourages and ensures that learning goals are achieved on time.

  5. Measures

In Cycle I (Nursery School - 2nd grade), lessons are taught in the traditional way. In Cycle II (3rd - 6th grade), tasks are increasingly carried out in individual or group work. In Cycle III (upper school), the young people are finally able to work on selected learning material themselves under supervision.

  6. Financing

    Private donations, company donations, foundation
